Why deep tine aerify?

With increased foot traffic on sports turf and golf courses comes a higher level of maintenance. More water and more equipment, along with increased foot traffic results in deeper compacted soil. By relieveing compaction with the Soil Reliever you will have a root system at the depth you aerify.

How it works

As the tractor moves forward and the tines enter the soil at a perpendicular line, while the tractor p.t.o. is engaged, this creates a lifting effect by displacing the soil upward from the forward motion of the tractor while the tines are in the soil This relieves compation of the soil at a depth of the tine penetration used.

As it is pulled across the turf, the deep-spading action fractures the soil into small particles, instantly relieving the presssure-packed soil.

The longer the tines are in the soil the greater the lifting effect causing a more disruptive surface. The Soil Reliever simply gets the tines in and out of the soil faster, minimizing the lifting action and leaving a smoother surface. The Soil Reliever has two separate crankshafts each half being driven from the centre. his reduces torque, allowing the maching to turn faster (one crank drives the other) the longer the line, the greater the torqe required to drive the far outside. By driving both directs the power requirements and vibrations are reduced.
