7 a-side rugby tournament and Tug-o-War competition

Well, guess what? It rained ... but the event went on....!

And at the end of a wet afternoon, when even though the weather put a definite damper on it, the club was pleased with the result and we've added to our club funds from the money raised.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event.

Help for Heros

On 20th September, Twickenham is hosting a challenge rugby union match in aid of the Help for Heros campaign.

The aim is to field teams featuring rugby stars from around the world and aims to raise £1 million for the charity, which supports servicemen and women wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Help for Heros raises money to help improve facilities and services at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court and the NHS Hospital at Selly Oak, Birmingham. More....

Last season ....

South Molton ended the season in 6th place in the Tribute Devon 1 league table, behind league leaders OPMs. Second in the league were OPOs, followed by Plymouth Barbarians, Exeter Saracens and our local neighbours, Torrington

We're based in North Devon and for the 2008-9 season are playing in Devon League 1.

The club welcomes new players of all levels. If you play, or are interested in rugby and would like to get involved, please call or come along to the club on a match day.
